St. Mary's Church in Melton Mowbray is again playing host to this year's British Pie Awards on Wednesday 25th April 2012.

Bakers and butchers across the UK enter their range of pies, including Melton's speciality pork pies into the annual competition.

This year there are 95 judges including Rev. Kevin Ashby, Di Login - Belvoir Brewery, Charles Campion- food writer for the London Evening Standard, Xanthe Clay- food writer for The Daily Telegraph and Rachel Green- TV Chef and food campaigner.

The event is supported by Sysonby Knoll Hotel.
