Hallmark goes for growth with warehouse expansion
Hallmark has kicked off expansion plans to double the size of our warehousing and fulfilment operations over the next five years to support our ongoing and projected growth and new business pipeline.
We originally purchased the 40,000 sq ft warehouse and depot as our UK headquarters in 2013, and since then have recorded an annual turnover of more than £5 million each year.
The first phase of our five-year growth plan has involved the construction of a new 8,000 sq ft of bespoke storage and shelving space built as an upper floor mezzanine, creating an additional 2500 locations for carton picks and enhanced storage and shipping facility for an even greater range in goods size.
The construction has completed on time and ahead of the seasonal surge in client orders around Black Friday and in the run-up to Christmas, and we are shortly to launch our seasonal recruitment drive to help cope with demand.
Commenting on the expansion, Hallmark Managing Director, Philip Hall, says:

The additional space not only increases our size and efficiency, but means we can expand the range and size of goods we handle for our clients.
“Plans for a further 30,000 sq ft extension of the warehouse are already in development, which will double our capacity over the next five years.”
