Hallmark receives EcoVadis sustainability award
We are delighted to announce that Hallmark Consumer Services has been awarded a silver sustainability rating by EcoVadis – the world’s largest and most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings.
The EcoVadis sustainability assessment covers four key themes; environmental sustainability, labour and human rights practices, business ethics and sustainable procurement, and the aim is to help companies assess their supply chain partners globally rather than using individual country standards, which can vary significantly.
Businesses are assessed against 21 different criteria, based on leading standards such as GRI, UNGC and ISO 26000, and the methodology is supervised by an international scientific committee. Companies are rated according to the performance of their policies, actions and results as well as inputs from third-party professionals and external stakeholders.
EcoVadis has rated a global network of more than 85,000 companies and we’re extremely proud that in our first year of being assessed, we’ve been rated silver, which puts Hallmark in the top 25% of all companies assessed.
